An Escape

An Escape

April 06, 2020

It is hard to know if we are in the beginning, middle, or end of the COVID-19 pandemic. There is no precision in forecasting where we are in the process and what we are all going through. And the level of tragedy seems to be high, bad news high, and good news, well, we do not talk about it enough. It does not seem logical that we will all effectively live through this kind of, somewhat suffocating circumstance for longer than we want. Therefore, the most important thing for us to think about is how can we give ourselves a break, how can we escape even if just for a little bit of time to keep us healthy and stable. No fancy answers, just focus on finding an escape on a regular basis. Let’s start by turning off the news for long periods of time, complement this with simple escapes, like watching a YouTube video of a beautiful location, a walk in the sun, planning a vacation for 2021, playing a video game, and so much more. We all know what feels like an escape so we need to go there and do it till we do not need to do it anymore. We will get through this, let’s mitigate the impact, yes, time for an escape, indeed.
