Boundaries
March 11, 2020
We see them all the time while on our journey - fences, lines, gates, walls and so much more – boundaries of a sort. Defined as “a line that marks the limits of an area, a dividing line”. Indeed, yes, it can be a physical limiter keeping things out but more often than not our boundaries are all about our mindset and setting personal “property limits’. It seems ever more difficult to set personal boundaries but if we are to be effective in what we do then we are going to need to embrace boundaries. When we do we can start to prioritize better, we can be more productive, we can do more of the things that we want to do. Boundaries are not being selfish, rather they allow us to put ourselves in a position to support and help. The boundaries make it easier, clearer and impactful. So, let’s embrace boundaries and use them to our advantage. There are for sure times when they are necessary, and we will all know where we start and end and contribute the best we can.
