Clean Up
It seems that the more we travel on our journey the more we realize that there are a lot of residuals that are produced along the way. It could be gym clothes on the floor after a workout, a mess in our office after a rather busy day, a sore muscle from too much running, or even a relationship that is not getting enough attention. All of these circumstances are “normal” or to be expected when we are moving fast, going hard and focused on our goals. The key is to be aware of what is happening around us, look for the mess, feel the strain, listen to what others are saying. And once we have a sense that the “mess” has built up it is time to clean it up. All it needs is a bit of time and attention. When we focus and address it, the benefits that come from a good cleanup are palpable. So, let’s make clean up as important as any task on the journey. It will be good for us and all around us. Here’s to a good clean up, nothing feels better when it is done.
