It would seem that there are more reasons to stay inside at this time of year than at other times. The days are shorter, the temperatures are dropping, and the holiday season keeps us inside. And while there is nothing inherently wrong with time inside, we stimulate many more senses when we push ourselves outdoors. Our bodies and our mind are really good at responding to different kinds of stimuli, or strain and adjusting as appropriate and the extremes of this time of year, do. This is really good as it not only makes us better when it is cold out, but it stretches our system and gets us good at the extremes which inherently makes us perform better. So, lets’ get outside and be better as a result of doing so.
