Heading into 2020 I've been doing some soul searching into ways that I can elevate my running for the upcoming race season, and one of the answers I've come to is to start making friends with discomfort.
Life and our journey feel more real, more vibrant, more vivid and compelling when we have challenges that we are working on. There is a fear, an anticipation, a commitment and a reality that we have to embrace when that challenge is, what we would call “big”.
We all know that the new year brings with it a positive energy and a desire to do better. It is a time when we set goals and make changes that we know we should be true to.
