Training with Intention

We know that much of what we would think of as improvement, excellence, endeavoring to do better comes from how we go about the task at hand. It starts with an acknowledgment of what the standard is for our pursuit. Who does it the best, what are the limits, what is better? And as we get to understand how to take it to the next level much of what we can do gets clearer. We know that practice and more practice are a key part of improvement and to make it happen we have to train with intention, purpose, focus and resolve. It is within our control to improve, so then it is just about the choices that we make. Once we realize this, the path gets clearer and the outcomes more certain. Training with intention is a choice and a result all wound up together. A good thing to figure out along the journey, that is for sure.
