We Can Learn How to Care
November 01, 2019
It seems that as our lives get more and more complicated and busy that we lose a connection with the broader ecosystem that we are a part of. Our goals, our individualism, the lack of visibility into what is happening around us all contribute to an absence of sensitivity to what we need to care about so that we can protect the planet for generations to come. One area that we have to learn to care about is the continuing extinction of species and animals and fish, all a critical part of the complex ecosystem that has been created over millions of years. When we lose any wildlife we suffer a loss of possibilities, of wonder, of beauty and imagination. So, let’s do our part to increase our awareness of what is going on around us, to care, to know that what we do matters and what we don’t do matters as well.
