Leanna Martinez is a Professional Boxer as well as a Registered Nurse from Cordova, New Mexico. Leanna began boxing at the age of 13 and has 25 amateur boxing fights with a record of 18 wins and 7 losses.
Leanna took time off from boxing to go to college to pursue a nursing degree. Leanna graduated from the nursing program with an Associate of Science degree in Nursing with Cum Laude honors as well as a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society in 2014. Leanna earned her Registered Nursing License two months after graduating and was immediately accepted into the RN to BSN program at Northern New Mexico College in the fall of 2014. Leanna started her own business in the field of home health care as a Registered Nurse caring for cancer patients in 2015. Leanna graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing with Magna Cum Laude honors as well as a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society in 2016.
Leanna Martinez decided to take a break from furthering her education in order to pursue her passion for boxing. She started training for boxing again immediately after graduating with her BSN in June of 2016. Leanna began competing again in February of 2017 and decided along with her coach/manager/promoter Pat Holmes to make her professional boxing debut in September of 2017. Leanna is now undefeated 4-0-0, 2 KO’s as a professional boxer. She is excited for what her future in Professional boxing holds.
